How do I apply?

The first step to making it real with us, is your online application via our career page. We have limited mandatory fields to a minimum, to ensure a quick and easy registration and application. Since proper and compliant handling of your data is important to us, we can only accept and process applications submitted via our career page.

What do I need to provide with my application?

Most importantly your CV.
Cover letter, certificates and other documents are usually not mandatory in a first step. We advise you to present your skills and experience in a structured way. Are there any language requirements?

If you apply for a specific vacancy, we recommend that you provide your CV in the same language as we used in the job advertisement unless stated otherwise.

How do I know if my online application was received successfully?

Check your e-mail inbox (potentially also your spam folder) for our confirmation e-mail which you will receive immediately after your online application. The vacancy will also be listed in the section "Jobs applied" in your candidate profile.

Can I apply for more than one job at the same time?

Yes, absolutely! We even recommend doing so if there is more than one relevant vacancy posted at the same time.

What if there is no relevant opening for me at the moment?

What should I expect from an interview at Borealis?

The interview will either be in-person at one of our locations or virtual via MS Teams. Typically, an interview will take one hour. Your Talent Acquisition Specialist will instruct you on the details and practicalities.

Our interviews are structured but at the same time, they should be a conversation on eye level to find out together, if the role is right for you and if it will indeed provide you with what you are looking for as a next step in your professional career. Therefore, we explicitly invite you to be curious as well and bring your questions to the meeting!

We will ask questions about your background and knowledge that’s relevant for the role, your motivation and vision for your future. We typically also ask about your salary expectations early on in the recruitment process.

What happens after the interview and what is the usual timeline?

At the end of the interview, your Talent Acquisition Specialist will outline further steps within the process and help you understand the timeline.

Depending on the role, responsibility and seniority, our recruitment process can include a second interview with more or other stakeholders, a panel discussion, an assessment or similar.

The timeline can vary depending on amount of meetings, availability of involved people and other factors. Please let us know any timing constraints from your side, so we can take them into consideration as well.

We will contact you via phone or e-mail to inform you about the outcome of your application.
