We have an exciting opportunity at our Beringen location, specifically for our PolyPropylene plant. As the driving force behind continuous improvement, you’ll contribute your proposals to ensure the long term viability of the plant, while supporting all teams in your assigned area to elevate both operational performance and HSEQ quality.
As a Production Engineer, you will have responsibilities in a variety of interesting domains:
• Strategic Operations & Improvement: you will champion the proposal and implementation of sustainable improvement projects, from minor process changes (MoC) to the safe and efficient commissioning of new plant sections.
• KPI-Driven Plant Management: you are the key responsible for daily monitoring, adjusting, and achieving your plant’s objectives and KPIs, including product mix planning and internal product specifications.
• Leadership in Safety & Quality: Leading by example in HSE guidelines is your second nature, root-cause analyses, and safety studies (HAZOP, SIL), while facilitating continuous improvement initiatives (TBW) for a secure work environment.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: you have the power to act as the liaison between production, R&D, and customers: from test runs and complaint handling to internal and external audits, coaching colleagues and sharing expertise.

About you

• have—or will soon obtain—a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Bio engineering or Process Technology.
• thrive on technical challenges, love to innovate and consistently aim for the highest quality results.

• are able to lead an investigation team on topics ranging from HSE to reliability.
• never compromise on health, safety and environmental standards.
• Have strong people skills and are able to combine opinions from different colleagues to general supported solutions.
• are proficient in both English and Dutch at a business level.
