Are you curious for this temporary (7 months) challenge in our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) team in Beringen?

 
Does scheduling & raw material planning ring a bell? Do you want to be responsible for ordering and following up the delivery of the required raw materials and packaging materials needed for our production and material handling departments? Do you like to cooperate with several colleagues in S&OP and procurement ? Are you interested to grow further into other S&OP roles?

There is more to it, as a Raw Material Scheduler (RMS), you will:
 
• optimize raw material order size, reduce slow moving stock, and ensure accuracy of all raw material stocks by monitoring timely and accurate goods receipt.
• translate the production and packaging schedule into a detailed raw material schedule, defining the amount of material to be delivered to our location or outside storage locations.
• follow up tank levels and adjust deliveries accordingly to make sure that the tank level remains at all time between the safety tolerance levels.
• organize repackaging of raw material where needed at our logistics supplier to meet requirements of handling in the plant.
• participate in our European raw material network in order to continuously improve together with your colleagues the procurement process for improved customer satisfaction at optimised cost
• maintain raw material planning parameters in SAP to allow system guided scheduling.

About you

 

 

You own a bachelor degree in logistics and have already gained at least 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar role. Former employment in a (petro)chemical/pharma environment, automotive industry or international environment in supply chain, scheduling roles is seen as an asset.  You master Dutch fluently and are able to express yourself in English on a professional level. You rate your Excel expertise at least as moderate and might have SAP experience.
 

Besides the hard skills, we are looking for a future colleague who is eager for a professional challenge, can think clearly in all circumstances and reasons in terms of practical solutions..  You have great analysing and planning skills and you can work accurately . You make well profound and sometimes quick decisions and you can stand your ground to defend them. You can work independently but also value and contribute to team work. On top of that you link troubleshooting with the word “challenge” and are eager to use your logical brains to solve (ad hoc) issues and act quickly.
