In this role as Group Expert Rotating Equipment (m/f/d), directly reporting to the Manager Integrity & Discipline Support, you will pro-actively contribute in securing the reliability of our production facilities mainly in our Hydrocarbons plants within the defined area of expertise. You will develop business opportunities and you will drive the concept of Developing/Optimizing P3M for the purpose of improving reliability as well as for the purpose of ensuring system reliability and safety, while minimizing the required downtime for the Plants. 
 
In more detail, you will:

  • Provide your senior expertise in the field of reliability related processes, systems and tools.
  • Develop maintenance strategies, ensure process definitions, create and revise processes and procedures.
  • Manage organisation & planning tools and systems, while looking into future developments in this area.
  • Lead the Discipline Network in close cooperation with the other Discipline Group Experts with members across Borealis, both from PA&T and Engineering.
  • Ensure and support adherence to the Maintain processes and procedures on Local level.
  • Pro-actively ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory bodies on national and EU-level.
  • Act as Borealis representative towards external companies within the area of expertise.

About you

You have a Master’s Degree in engineering or in a similar relevant discipline and at least 10 years of working experience in the in Petrochemical industry, mainly in a maintenance environment, with exposure to Reliability and Inspection. Moreover, you have already experience in leadership within the maintenance organization, including leading, guiding and coaching and you are fluent in English. If you have project management and execution experience, it is a plus. As a Group Expert, a good understanding of the Polyolefin and Hydrocarbons Business is needed. Last but not least, you demonstrate your leadership and coaching skills in a technical, international and multicultural environment and you are pro-active in sharing knowledge and networking.

We offer a role specific compensation and a competitive salary and fringe benefit package reflecting your profile, experience and the specifics of the country/location you apply for. Following Austrian law regulations, we offer a competitive compensation based on the collective labour agreement, reflecting your competencies and experience, starting at EUR 84.000,- annual gross salary and are willing to pay more based on your experience and background. In addition, we offer a yearly bonus and a voluntary company pension plan.
