These will be your main responsibilities, you will

-    be the key figure, responsible for availability and maintainability of the equipment in your area of expertise.
-    act as a technical discipline engineer on local level and support technical supplier issues in the area of instrumentation.
-    lead PA&T related investigations of important incidents or relevant risks (End of Lifetime/replacements/…) and participate in reviews and audits supporting the local organization.
-    lead small improvement programs and projects according to Borealis high standards and procedures.
-    act as an active member of the technical network, representing our plants, sharing your experience in the network. You will maintain these networks internal (production units, PA&T management team, procurement)- and external (vendors, suppliers, and contractors) to exert influence for Borealis and keep awareness of potential short and long term developments.

After training on the job, you will also be the ATEX and SIL safety responsible for the local organisation

 

About you

 

Here is our "wish list" of the right candidate:


-    Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Instrumentation) other relevant field
-    3-5 years of experience in (Petro)chemical/Refinery or other relevant business environment
-    Strong knowledge of Safety Integrity Level (SIL) and ATmosphère EXplossibles (ATEX) is an absolute requirement
-    In addition, knowledge of DCS/ESP is a plus, AMS for wireless applications will also be seen as a valuable asset
-    Through your experience you have been working in projects (level of 150k€)
-    Good knowledge of Instrumentation and Electrical Standards
-    System knowledge we require is first and foremost SAP, any other relevant IT knowledge is an extra

 

Of course you have:

-    Excellent communication skills and are a team player that can work effectively in a multicultural environment
-    the knowledge to express yourself fluent in verbal and written both in Dutch and English
-    the ability to build up your network and maintain good connection with various stakeholders
