As Reliability Engineer, you ensure reliability processes and procedures are followed at Kallo and Antwerp locations and strive to increase reliability of equipment and plants. You will get the chance to develop an exciting role in Reliability Management (Operability, Backlog, Bad Actor, Equipment strategy,...) and to be a member of the Reliability Network. As the local connection point you will work closely to our Group Reliability Experts.
Your day-to-day role and responsibilities will be:
- Developing and implementing reliability improvement plans and coaching the local organisation to improved operability of local plants and equipment
- Conducting 'Bad actor' identification and elimination, collaborating with cross-functional teams to address reliability issues.
- Reporting Reliability KPI´s and Milestones to all stakeholders (PAT-Manager, Discipline engineers, Planners, POT-teams, Group Reliability Experts…
- Facilitating technical investigations for elimination of bad actors.
- Applying HSEQ requirement in all areas of the responsibility.
- Developping and implement local/group Procedures and Instructions.
- Acting as internal trainer and coach in your area of expertise.
About you
Are you an experienced engineer in the chemical industry with strong coaching and communication skills?
Ideally, you have Master’s degree in Engineering and proven records in the field of Reliability and/or Maintenance. Multi-discipline technical knowledge and thorough knowledge of Borealis maintenance processes and operations are an important asset for this role.
In addition, you have a profound knowledge of the Borealis business understanding and high cost awareness to suggest new and pathfinding solutions. Your knowledge of Dutch and English (business level) is good.
Thanks to your excellent communication and coaching skills, you motivate local as well as international teams to challenge and improve Reliability processes. You have strong presentation skills to convince all stakeholders of (new) Reliability procedures and to transmit requirements from group to local and back. Finally you have adequate knowledge of SAP and related IT-systems in Reliability area.
