As a Borcycle™ M Process Technology Group Expert , you will have the following responsibilities:
 

  • Develop process technology, design, and solutions within Borealis’ Mechanical Recycling technology for polyolefins, partly in collaboration with research teams and projects.
  • Develop business opportunities (e.g., Process Design Packages) for Mechanical Polyolefin Recycling, taking into consideration Safety, Quality, Reliability, and Cost.
  • Contribute technical and professional advice to operations and projects across locations in Borealis and Joint Ventures.
  • Develop Borcycle™ M design requirements and develop and/or implement Group Procedures.
  • Lead or participate in technical problem-solving, affecting Business Performance in assets at different locations.
  • Build employee capability to enable increased performance by guiding, coaching, and encouraging other colleagues and co-workers.
  • Gain good internal exposure and establish recognition in the area of Mechanical Recycling.
  • Maintain good relations with typical vendors, external engineering & contracting companies, as well as with Borealis’ production units, procurement, and technical networks in assigned technology.
  • Develop and maintain relations with relevant external institutions to keep abreast of recent technical developments.
  • Work closely with other process technology teams within our Borealis Asset Technology department.

About you

  • Master Degree in relevant process engineering field, Mechanical or Chemical engineering
  • Substantial professional experience in areas that exposed you to topics such as process design, CAPEX investment studies and projects
  • At least some basic knowledge and/or exposure to mechanical recycling topics (feedstock, processes, etc.), but most importantly, a genuine desire to contribute to this area
  • Fluent English in writing and speaking
  • Good business understanding and effectiveness in international and multicultural teams and matrix settings
  • Flexibility for business travel, primarily within Europe

Your salary package will reflect your profile, experience and the specifics of the country/location you apply for.

 

Should you join us in one of our Austrian locations and according to Austrian law, we offer compensation based on the collective labor agreement starting at EUR 106.000,- annual gross salary (based on 38 hrs/week) plus a yearly bonus, and are willing to pay more based on your experience and background.
