Solution Architect Cybersecurity (m/f/d)

Within Borealis IT&S Operations & Security, your role will be to act as the liaison between governance and operational security, and act as a Subject Matter Expert for all (Cyber) Security related projects. In your role you will develop and maintain the ESA framework. You will also demand evaluation for potential IT Security involvement and security Architecture Design for critical business projects.
 

In our challenge to push things forward and keep improving our processes, these will be some of your responsibilities:

 

  • effectively translate business objectives and risk management strategies into specific security processes enabled by security technologies and services;
  • define adequate architectural measures, functional security services to support the IT delivery in all internal and sourcing decisions/activities;
  • define key elements of the continuously evolving Information Security Roadmap and drive their implementation and documentation in the EA repository;
  • develop and maintain a security architecture process and artifacts including models that enables the enterprise to implement security solutions and capabilities clearly aligned with business requirements, Group IT strategy, technology and threat drivers;
  • ensure a complete, accurate and up-to-date inventory of all security solutions, components and tools deployed within the corporate digital infrastructure, and periodically define a plan of action to bridge gaps with the target state and remove potential redundancies;
  • design secure infrastructure services for data protection at rest and in transit, encryption key management, remote and cloud access control, endpoint protection, mobile device security, threat detection and response, central security monitoring, etc.;
  • review market best practices and new cyber security technologies, tools and services, and make recommendations to the broader security team for their use, based on security, financial and operational metrics.

Would you like to join us in this challenge? You are the right person for the role if you have strong analytical and conceptual abilities, and your way of thinking is process- and customer oriented. You must have the ability to deal with ambiguity as well as a strong sense for initiative so you can proactively identify opportunities and suggest ideas & solutions. Fluency in English is required and excellent communication and persuasion skills are necessary to be able to impact and influence. Furthermore you have a Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or in a related area. We are looking for someone with at least 10 years of work experience in the design of solutions architectures, who understands architectural issues, and can factor them into decisions and recommendations.
