Borealis is looking for a dynamic professional to transform the business unit’s strategy into a comprehensive digitalization roadmap. In this role you will manage relationships between the assigned business unit and the Digital Solutions department. You will be responsible for managing the dedicated project portfolio by ensuring optimal project prioritization.
 

Key Responsibilities :

  • Act as a key business partner for all relations the business units have with Digital Solutions.
  • Lead the project demand process to identify business opportunities and requirements.
  • Assess the business case and value for new demands.
  • Proactively create new business opportunities.
  • Lead the preparation and execution of the Digital Solutions mid-term business planning for assigned business unit.
  • Translate the business strategy of the assigned business unit into digital roadmaps and priorities.

About you

 

  • Bachelor’s degree: A degree in Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Business acumen, understand the bigger picture and align Digital initiatives with organizational goals.
  • A strong background in stakeholder and project demand management.
  • Strategic alignment, demonstrated ability to align IT initiatives with overall business strategy.
  • Effective communication, excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and negotiation skills with impact and influence.
  • 10 years of work experience preferably in an international organization and min 5 years in a position related to demand management - experience in the chemical industry (e.g. in operations, circular economy) is an additional advantage.
