[INTERNSHIP/STAGE] Internship Customer Service Export Team

In our CSO export team we have one internship position available for students who want to develop a career in international transport. In our team, located in Mechelen, we can support you to successfully complete your studies and to build up your experience with international trade documents.  


In the role you will be a primary link to our customers and facilitate customer satisfaction by building and maintaining a strong relationship with our customers outside Europe. You facilitate sales fulfilment and coordinate a broad portfolio of processes across different stakeholders inside Borealis (different business units, supply chain and shared services) and outside (customers and LSPs). This includes driving for operational excellence from business preparation until the money is in the bank.


Are you ready to rise to the challenge? These will be some of your tasks:


  • You are the day to day interface to customers/partners in order to address customer´s supply and service needs in line with PO business strategies.
  • You have the full responsibility for order processing, delivery creation, transport booking, document creation and invoicing according to Borealis Guidelines and Procedures (OTC process), applicable export and import activities.
  • You supply timely and accurate response to any customer requests and keep customer pro-actively informed about relevant status updates
  • You address and channel customer feedback in order to improve customer satisfaction. You are the first contact for issues, defects and complaints. You respond to customer complaints and mitigate impact of issues

About you


Passionate about international transport and eager to put your education into practice?


As our desired candidate, you are a currently enrolled student in the field of Logistics Management with a strong affinity with international transport. You have excellent oral and written English language skills. Furthermore, you have a result oriented approach and understand the importance of details. You act as a true team player and are keen to work in a multicultural and international environment.
