We are hiring an Sales & Operations professional, who can take on this responsibility to achieve new goals with us, and is interested in growing further into other Sales & Operations Planning roles. In this challenging role of Material Flow Scheduler, you will be responsible for providing the optimal schedule for packaging and storage facilities within the boundaries of the plan. You will manage availability based on our segmentation for exceptional customer satisfaction. You will also manage cost-optimal inventory structure, changes in packaging schedule based on transition matrix and safety stock utilization decisions in alignment with demand response team.
As our new Scheduler, these will be your main responsibilities:
- translate the production schedule into a detailed packaging, silo and storage schedule, defining the amount of material to be transferred to overflow minimizing the total cost
- participate in alignment meetings with the material handling organisation and outside storage locations in order to drive & continuously improve the material flow schedule quality to ensure proper risk management and asset effectiveness
- manage local inventory of packaging materials, schedule orders and reduce slow moving stock and ensure accuracy of stock level
- manage our overflow activities, take care of the invoicing process and follow up on the cost versus budget
- be involved in local and/or cross location projects to improve our processes and systems
About you
As our ideal candidate, you have a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a related field (e.g. Supply Chain, Engineering, Economics) and several years of experience in a supply chain, business or operations. To succeed in this role, it is important that you can communicate fluently in Finnish and English.
We hope you have experience in different steps of Sales & Operations Planning and cross functional operations processes. Knowledge of "SAP-APO", excellent analysis skills and good presentation skills will help you succeed in this role. You also have a good understanding of a combination of business, supply chain and finance know how.
You are a strong supporter of fact based decision-making, and you are willing to go the extra mile, while continuously developing further within the interesting world of S&OP. Finally, you are a strong influencer who sets directions, engages and inspires people and is able to translate complex situations into simple terms.

The position will be located in Kilpilahti industrial area in Porvoo, around 30 minutes away from Helsinki city by car.
