In order to successfully implement our Borealis Strategy 2030, the former IT&S and Digital Studio teams are joining forces. The new "IT & Digital Solutions" organisation creates new opportunities. One of the roles necessary to ensure a fit for future organisation is a Platform Lead.


Leading a team of digital experts, the Platform Lead is responsible for platform management. You will be responsible for the Strategy and Ownership of the roadmap for all Borealis Strategic IT and Digital platforms, collaborate with external vendors and service providers, and partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to enhance existing platforms or implement new solutions. The Platform Lead will also assess potential risks and vulnerabilities associated with the platforms.


In your role, you will:

 

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of our platform infrastructure, ensuring that it is scalable, efficient, and secure.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and prioritize platform requirements, ensuring that they meet business needs and are aligned with industry best practices and standards.
  • Oversee the design and development of platform architecture, components, and tools, ensuring that they are optimized for performance and usability.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and partners, ensuring that they provide high-quality products and services that meet business requirements.
  • Manage a small team.

About you

 

You have a Master’s degree in Computer Science and more than 5 years of experience in a similar role in an international work environment. You have in-depth knowledge of platform engineering concepts (microservices architecture, containerization, cloud computing, DevOps), and knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and industry best practices. You have excellent interpersonal and communications skills, strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills. You master English at business level.
