As part of the Polypropylene (PP) Product Asset Management team, you are technically responsible for defined portfolios of Borealis commercial PP products and specifically ones used in caps and closures, thin wall packaging and transport packaging applications. You serve our customers by driving continuous improvement in product quality, performance and cost. Through your networking with the production sites, the commercial organisation and others, you ensure that our commercial products meet customer’s needs and expectations.



As a product owner you:


  • Ensure that our products can be produced within established specifications and fulfill customers´ needs and legal requirements. You are the owner of internal product specifications and support creation of customer related product and technical delivery agreements
  • Perform product quality reviews and drive product related claim investigations in order to define corrective actions and settle claims technically
  • Lead/Support initiatives to improve financial performance of your portfolio e.g. in topics related to complexity reduction, sourcing optimization, new product development, plant capability and cost saving solutions.
  • As a member in Application Marketing Teams (AMT) and Customer Support Teams (CST) you give technical support to customers, technical service, marketing or manufacturing organization, as well as other functions. You also support classification and product placement in the market in co-operation with Operations and Sales.


About you


Knowledge, Skills & Experience:


  • Technical background, preferably a degree in Material Science, Polymer Engineering/Science, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with several years work experience 
  • Knowledge in caps and closures, thin wall packaging and transport packaging applications (e.g. usage of PP material solutions) is a benefit
  • Project management skills, and good ability to work in multi-cultural and cross-functional team
  • Understand customers’ needs and translate it into technical and product requirements
  • Good documentation, presentation and reporting skills
  • Fluency in English
