As a key player in our Operational Solutions Department, you will play an essential role in shaping IT solutions, optimizing workflows, and enabling seamless collaboration between business and technology.

We are looking for a proactive and innovative professional to help assess, design, and implement cutting-edge IT solutions, ensuring our production systems run at peak performance. Your Role & Responsibilities:
 

• Bridge the gap between business and technology—gather and analyze requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and guide the implementation process.
• Provide expert consultation and insights, challenge existing processes, and recommend improvements and non-standard out of the box solutions to drive efficiency and innovation.
• Take ownership of IT services and projects, representing Borealis in collaborations with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Ensure smooth operations by providing technical and UAT support to key users, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing SAP PP/PM application performance.
• Contribute to solution architecture development and operational vendor management.
• Lead smaller projects and service initiatives to improve IT functionality across the organization.

About you

• A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, with 7+ years of experience in a tech-driven role, ideally in a production environment.
• SAP S/4HANA certification or equivalent knowledge, with expertise in SAP PP/PM applications being a strong advantage.
• Hands-on experience in IT solution design and implementation, particularly in enterprise-level systems (customization, configuration, or ability to interpret code).
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with an in-depth understanding of business processes and IT applications.
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to take ownership of tasks and thrive in an agile, team-driven environment.
• Fluent English skills (spoken, written, and literacy).
