Would you like to be part of the exciting future of Borealis and learn about corporate communications? We are looking for a Communications Trainee for our production site in Kilpilahti, Porvoo.  

 

As our summer trainee, you will be working with a versatile range of internal and external communications activities in collaboration with a global network. At Borealis, we’re putting our innovative plastic and base chemical solutions to work, to create progress for our customers and to bring a circular and carbon neutral future closer for us all.

 

The tasks of summer trainee include:

  

  • Producing, editing and publishing various types of content for internal/external channels 
  • Planning and creating content for social media  
  • Implementing communications activities, projects and other initiatives 

About you

  • We expect you to study Communications or equivalent and already have some communications-related work experience.
  • Excellent written communication skills and ability to synthesize complex information and crystallize key messages with a keen eye for detail and quality are important in the role.
  • You are familiar with social media and also photography. Filming skills, including editing, are an advantage.  
  • To succeed in this role, you should have native-level Finnish and excellent English language skills.  
  • The role requires a pro-active, service- and open-minded attitude. Also, a can-do attitude is appreciated.  
  • The position covers summer months from mid-May to mid-September, but the more detailed working period is negotiable.
