Shipping & Receiving Operator

Role Purpose: Is responsible for the effective and efficient organization of the work of the shipping receiving operators

•    Responsible for the control and optimization of the physical material flow and processes of all packaging and/or physical distribution activities
•    Ensures that procedures and work instructions in the department are followed 
•    Contributes pro-actively in the Performance Team in order to reduce cost and optimize material movements
•    Responsible for the implementation of the HSE, Quality policy in his/her team.
•    Responsible for accurate stock and reporting of finished material and packaging material
•    Responsible for all QM in the warehouses
•    Ensures raw material supply for production (base resin)
•    Provides performance feedback and defines Development actions for the shipping receiving operators
•    Identifies and defines training demand for shipping receiving operators and supports the training in an active way
•    Is responsible for the knowledge transfer to new employees.
•    Coaches, selects and develops employees.
•    Responsible for effective and efficient organization of the work.
•    Represents the department in a professional manner for internal and external customers.
•    Ensures that the customer requirements are known and are applied by the whole team.

About you

•    Strong Operational indepth knowledge
•    3-5 years experience in production or logistics operations
•    Recognised for having excellent people skills, coaching and feedback, adjusting when necessary and creating a winning team culture 
•    Recognised for being communicating, dialogue engaging, inspiring, motivating and setting direction for others within a multicultural environment
•    Demonstrates model conduct
