Expert (m/f/d) for Lean Management and Continuous Improvement

Do you see challenges as opportunities rather than limits? Then join our Centre of Excellence in the Product Asset Management & Supply Chain area as Lean Expert (m/f/d). We are currently looking for you when you are an expert in Lean Management and Continuous Improvement starting with June 2023 located at our site in Schwechat. In this role you will analyse the Value Stream from End to End.
Your tasks will be:
- Lead Continuous Improvement (CI) projects in the Product Asset Management & Supply Chain area with focus on our site in Schwechat but also in other European sites.
- Map the Value Stream together with the local teams and identify improvement areas and bottlenecks.
- Develop new, innovative solutions and lead investigations for complex process improvement studies. Analyse issues with Problem Solving techniques. Plan, supervise, report and present full scale projects to the appropriate decision board.
- Implement Lean initiatives to improve the overall process from End to End. Thrive digitalization for efficiency measurements especially in the packaging area and warehouse utilization. Prepare and apply best practice.
- Be change ambassador for Lean mindset.
- Provide training to the Product Asset Management & Supply Chain area on Continuous Improvement methodology (eg. Lean, Six Sigma, Problem Solving, .. )
- Be an active member of the international Borealis Continuous Improvement network.
About you
You are the right candidate for the role, if you have finished your Master Degree in either a technical studies or business/economics studies. You have already gained relevant working experience in Lean Management as well as an additional education in Lean such as Six Sigma. It would be a plus, if you have already worked in a production environment, preferably within a Matrix organisation. You are fluent in English and German and you are open to go on business trips within Europe (especially Germany) for approximately 20% of your working time. You like to work in an international environment and your strengths are conceptual thinking as well as analytical thinking.

Following Austrian law regulations, we offer, reflecting your experiences, skills and competencies, competitive compensation based on the collective labour agreement chemical industry starting at EUR 69.000 annual gross salary (based on 38 hrs/week) and are willing to pay more based on your experience and background. In addition, we offer a yearly bonus and a voluntary company pension plan.
