For a new organization Borealis is looking for a Group Expert Maintenance Execution Efficiency (MEE). The purpose of this Group Expert is to contribute with highest expertise to support locations in external and internal efficiency. Focus will be managing Contractors in safety, quality and cost.
In your role you will contribute proactively to securing the Efficiency in maintenance execution of our production facilities in Polymers and Hydrocarbons, provide support and guidance on the subject of Efficiency and suggest/implement solutions to Borealis Operations. You will develop strategies, ensure process definitions, and create and revise processes and procedures. You will also ensure adherence to those processes and procedures by working together with the locations.
It is your responsibility to:
- Lead the Discipline in close cooperation with the other Discipline Experts with members across Borealis, both from Maintenance and Engineering, and focus on value generation out of this context.
- Guide Contractors to reach best safety achievements on group level.
- Optimize solutions to reach cost efficiency.
- Give input the operations community to be able to further providing trainings for new solutions and sharing best practices.
- Develop expertise throughout the life cycle of contractor partnership.
- Be a Category Owner for the dedicated discipline according to defined process.

About you
As Group Expert MEE you have a Master’s degree in Science or Business and Polymers& Hydrocarbons business understanding. You have a profound knowledge in budgetary planning (Fixed cost + CAPEX) and contracting principles, as well as experience in leadership within the maintenance organization and of international and multicultural teams. You have 10-15 years of experience in the maintenance environment, with exposure to Efficiency process in the Petrochemical industry . Project management/execution experience is a plus. You must have the ambition to travel and be a proactive supporter in the locations. Finally, you are fluent in verbal and written business-level English.
