Maintenance Engineer (m/f/d)

For the Plant Availability & Turnaround (PA&T) team at our location Schwechat, we are currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer (m/f/d) to ensure the availability of the installation of our plants and facilities. Due to your safety mindset, you will help us achieve “Goal Zero” under consideration of safety, cost-effectiveness, and quality. 


Your area of responsibility will include

  • To drive a high health, safety and environment performance in all activities at the plants at the location Schwechat.
  • To ensure and develop further “state of the art” of the installations with respect to process- and occupational health, reliability and process needs.
  • To provide technical support to planners, supervisors and technicians in case of technical issues or disruptions, while ensuring a high availability of the plants.
  • To seek continuously for long-term maintenance cost reductions for the installation.
  • To represent the department in a professional manner to internal and external customers, while building a good relationship and ensures good communication with the POT team.
  • To work closely with other departments to support them in the improvement of their operational skills and to contribute to a positive work environment.

About you

As our desired candidate, you have a Bachelor’s or University degree in Engineering/Mechanical or a HTL degree and several years of relevant work experience. You demonstrate availability to prioritize and take decisions and you have an excellent knowledge and experience of manufacturing maintenance. This position requires English and German skills on an advanced level. Finally, you are a team player with the ability to think analytically and apply lean leadership skills.

Following Austrian law regulations, we offer, reflecting your experiences, skills and competencies, competitive compensation based on the collective labour agreement chemical industry starting at EUR 52 204,04 annual gross salary (based on 38 hrs/week) and are willing to pay more based on your experience and background. In addition, we offer a yearly bonus and a voluntary company pension plan.
