We are looking for a Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager who is passionate about building strong processes, driving innovation and acting as the local champion for ongoing development. In this role you will be responsible for identifying areas of improvement within our processes, systems and procedures. Further, you will be developing strategies and action plans that increase efficiency, reduce costs and enhance effectiveness. To oversee projects and initiatives that aim to optimize operations and streamline workflows, will also be in the role description for this role.
We need your contribution to overall ensure the compliance of the local CI process with group guidelines and ensures a proper reporting structure of the CI process locally. The position assigns in close cooperation with the line organization, the responsibility for the execution of selected The Borealis Way (TBW) initiatives and projects including the practical realization of improvement potentials.
Your contribution as CI Manager at Borealis:
• Continuous improvement champion at the polyethylene site
• Initiate and implement selected CI potentials
• Manage selected TBW initiatives and projects
• Mentor and coach the line organization
• Develop and conduct training
In this role you will report to the Operations Manager Polyolefins and work closely with the Location Leadership Team and the CI Manager Network.
About you
You are the right candidate if you have a technical master’s degree, with extended number of years in a similar role, e.g. from CI-processes in a production environment and preferably in petrochemical industry. Experience within Six Sigma and mindset of Lean is as we see it, key to understand.
We are looking for you with proven track record managing change processes successfully, facilitate and coach by inspiring and engaging others, with ability to implement strategic action plans. In short: you have passion for team based structured problem solving to build structure for lasting change. And finally, in this role you need to master Swedish and English language verbally and written.
