We are now hiring a Manager for the Nordic People & Culture (HR) Service team located in Stenungsund, Sweden and Porvoo Finland. In this role you will lead, steer and develop our P&C Service organization filled with highly skilled people.
As a leader, we expect you to provide advice and guidance to your team members, to the relevant P&C Business Partners and to line managers/employees, guarantee execution on operational matters with regard to the employee life cycle such as:
• reward and benefits
• merit
• international mobility
• payroll
…and ensure compliance in every delivery. You will act as a point of escalation for issues regarding services operation that can’t be resolved, and provide expert services that leverage economies of scope, scale and expertise.
We also expect you to develop the team to the next level in terms of collaboration, competence and embracing the digital world.
As our Regional Service manager, we expect you to drive Group P&C Services standards (incl. metrics and KPI’s) & principles, to develop tools for supporting excellent HR Services Partner Deliver, and to monitor compliant delivery according to labour and location principles. You will lean on Borealis P&C Strategy, Governance Principles and Customers requirements.
In this role, you will:
- Define, maintain and ensure execution of excellent P&C Service & delivery performance within your area, serving a total of + 2.000 employee distributed in Sweden and Finland.
- Participate in, or manage Group projects, to develop further P&C services in line with strategy and based on business needs.
- Trigger actions if services related KPIs are outside the target range and makes sure improvement efforts are coordinated.
- Act as key interface to external audits (e.g. income tax, social security insurance) and internal audits such as EU 8th directive.
- Ensures that Borealis P&C processes, tools and standards are state of the art (external benchmarking) and applied in own area.
In this role, you will report to Director Employee Service P&C, will be a member of the P&C Services Partner Leadership team, and as such, participates in the definition of Group P&C Services strategy.
You will have 10 direct reports and many interfaces such as:
- HR Services Leadership Team, own team and broader HR Services organization
- Local & Stream Business Partners
- Finance
- IT&S and other key users
- Internal or external Auditors
- Local authorities
About you
We believe the right person have a Bachelor or M.Sc. in social sciences, Human Resources law or business economics. You also have a good understanding of governance requirements and principles and mastery of Swedish or Finnish and English at business level. It is an advantage if you have a broad knowledge in the basic Services area = Admin, Payroll, Reward, Mobility, and a broad knowledge of pension scheme basics in Sweden and of Finland. Good knowledge of in Swedish or Finnish employment laws and regulations; other European experience would be a bonus.
You have a demonstrated ability to lead people, change processes and international projects and is willing to lead cross-location teams. Travel on a monthly or by-monthly basis is required. You have the ability to develop and maintain effective business partnerships and a strong network with key stakeholders such as the Business Partners, Group functions as well as a partnership with Legal, Risk, Operations and IT.
You act as a role model for Empowerment – Trust - Ownership for direct reports and encourage the same approach across the own HR Services organisation. You effectively inform Stakeholders on HR Services progress, challenges and opportunities. You have very good interpersonal skills, sound judgement and the ability to juggle many often competing priorities simultaneously.
