As a part of our Operational Solutions Department, you will be actively involved in the demand management process in order to assess, challenge, design and estimate project and service related initiatives as well as participate in the whole project life-cycle. You will work closely together with the business and give expertise as well as recommendations while challenging the existing processes and solutions.
It will be your responsibility to:
- Gather and analyze requirements with key stakeholders, translate business needs to the technical specialists, design new concepts and steer the implementations.

- Manage services and projects as Borealis representative in activities executed by external partners.
- Provide UAT and technical support to key users, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in our PP application landscape efficiently, and coordinate with other IT teams as needed.
- Contribute to the solution architecture as well as driving operational vendor management.
- Lead smaller projects or service initiatives.
About you
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a comparable field and at least 7 years of experience in a tech-savvy role, preferably in production.
- Certification in SAP S4HANA or equivalent knowledge is required. In-depth knowledge and experience in PP, PM applications is a plus.
- Proven experience in IT solutions design and implementation, focusing on enterprise-level systems (e.g. customizing / configuration or ability to read / interpret a code).
- Strong analytical and conceptual abilities as well as in-depth understanding of organizational processes and the use of systems and applications by business partners.
- Drive for excellence combined with a strong sense for initiative. Team player with cooperative and agile mindset capable of taking ownership of individual tasks.
- Fluent in English (spoken, written, literacy).
