We are looking for operators for 1st, 2nd shift and 12 hour night shift.
Production Operator for a growing and expanding manufacturing company! Not just a job but an opportunity!
The Production Operator will participate in creating high quality, innovative plastic products for use in the automotive and utility industries. This is an excellent shared learning opportunity as Borealis is growing and expanding!
• Heavy emphasis on Safety and Quality
• Perform forklift/truck requirements
• Be able to calculate and make production decisions when the need arises
• Assists in meeting the production schedule goals by completing assignments
• Participates in continuous improvement
• Follows all provisions of operating instructions
• Responsible for the completion and accuracy of all production order data entry
• Monitors and performs product quality and takes appropriate action, including shutdown of process, to prevent or limit production
• Responsible for meeting standard batch times while maintaining safety and quality
• Follows all quality policies and production procedures to ensure quality product is produced
About you
• Strong focus on Safety and Quality
• The Production Operator will need good math and mechanical aptitude skills
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs
• Follows all provisions of operating instructions
• High School diploma or GED
• Be team player
• Flexibility to work other shifts as production demands.
• Forklift experience and/or certification
• At least 1 year in a manufacturing environment
• Batch processing experience
• Plastics manufacturing experience
