Business Finance Analyst (m/f/d)

We are currently looking for a Business Finance Analyst to join our team in Vienna, Austria.
In this versatile position you are a direct business partner for shaping the Polyolefins strategy with focus on circular economy solutions and new business development (NBD). We also offer you the chance to be an active part of projects and to contribute to our financial processes. You will support different stakeholders within the organisation to provide a solid base for decision making.


Your main areas of responsibility include amongst others:
˗ Act as proactive business partner to the VP Polyolefins Strategy & NBD, his team and other stakeholders
˗ Analyse potential strategic investments and growth opportunities, esp in the area of circular economy
˗ Simulate complex financial scenarios of the long term strategy for the business group from virgin to recyclate Polyolefins
˗ Develop evaluations, decision proposals and strategy documents for management
˗ Lead all finance activities to support NBD in decision making processes including target setting, budgeting and controlling
˗ Assess decision implications on P&L, balance sheet and cash flow and provide support to optimise
˗ Project leadership of and participation in improvement projects in finance and business

About you


You are the right candidate for this position if you possess the following experience, knowledge and skills:
˗ Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics or adequate additional job experience (10-12 years)
˗ Professional proficiency in English
˗ Extensive knowledge of financial modelling and scenario planning with background in investment banking, corporate development or controlling
˗ Forecasting, planning & performance management
˗ Strong data interpretation and validation performance
˗ Excellent communication and presentation skills, advanced Excel and PowerPoint knowledge

Following Austrian law regulations, we offer, reflecting your experiences, skills and competencies, competitive compensation based on the collective labour agreement chemical industry starting at EUR 82.000 annual gross salary (based on 38 hrs/week) and are willing to pay more based on your experience and background. In addition, we offer a yearly bonus and a voluntary company pension plan.
