You will start as Change & Sustainability Specialist within our Procurement team. In this exciting role, you will work closely together with your team members that are responsible for Change and Communication as well as Third party spend related Sustainability activities. Additionally, you will act as back up of the category buying team with focus on Austria and Germany in case of workload peaks. You will work in an international team as well together with OMV group colleagues. You are up-to-date on the latest digital innovations and tools, and have a strong administrative mindset.
In this exciting role, you will:
- Work closely together with our CPO on Change & Communication to support on the creation of essential content for status reports and events.
- Contribute to the implementation of Third party spend sustainability activities in very close alignment with OMV group representatives
- Closely track the results of and share findings with the team.
- Support the operative Category buying team in esp in Austria and Germany esp in relation to workload peaks.
- Explore different facets of procurement in your junior position and develop your skills to prepare yourself for higher-level roles within Borealis with focus on Category buying.
About you
As our preferred candidate, you fulfill the following requirements:
- A relevant university degree (Technical, Commercial, Marketing, Media & Communication, MBA or similar)
- Mastery of English language on business level (written and spoken) German as an advantage.
- Proficient with administrative tools such as word, power point and excel.
- Strong interest on developing virtual communication skills in Teams as well as polls.
- Strong communication, work prioritization, structuring and planning skills
- Passion for developing procurement skills, eagerness to advance your career, paired with readiness to also manage administrative tasks

Following Austrian law regulations, we offer, reflecting your experiences, skills and competencies, competitive compensation based on the collective labour agreement starting at EUR 50.640 annual gross salary (based on 38 hrs/week) and are willing to pay more based on your experience and background. In addition, we offer a yearly bonus and a voluntary company pension plan.
