Are you passionate about Health, Safety, Environment & Quality? Do you want to drive group-level energy and environmental management, shape and implement strategies to improve performance, compliance, and cost efficiency across different locations?
In this role of Group Expert Energy & Environment you work closely with location leadership, asset and technical development managers, local energy and climate teams, and group experts to drive continuous improvement !
Your key responsibilities are to:
- Co-develop and implement group-wide energy, utilities, and environmental strategies ;
- Set and monitor energy and environmental performance targets aligned with group ambitions ;
- Ensure reliable, cost-effective energy and utilities supply while reducing environmental footprint ;
- Lead compliance with ISO 50001 and ISO 14001 certifications and regulatory requirements ;
- Coordinate energy/environmental assessments, benchmarks, and reporting ;
- Collaborate with asset development teams on location energy plans and roadmaps ;
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and provide tools to improve energy and environmental outcomes ;
- Deliver expert guidance, training, and support to enhance sustainability and HSE compliance.
About you
- Master’s degree in science, engineering, or equivalent (minimum 5 years university degree) ;
- Total 10 years’ experience in the chemical process industry with a minimum 5 years in chemical process development, process engineering, or asset development roles ;
- Strong background in HSEQ management with proven knowledge of production processes ;
- Knowledge of energy and/or environmental management ;
- Proactive, analytical, detail-oriented, with solid understanding of energy policy and market structure
- Effective coach and communicator; able to give and receive feedback, manage conflicts, and inspire teamwork ;
- Fluent in English (business level) and local language(s).

Your salary package will reflect your profile, experience and the specifics of the country/location you apply for.
Should you join us in one of our Austrian locations and according to Austrian law , we offer compensation based on the collective labor agreement starting at EUR 108.000 annual gross salary (based on 38 hrs/week) plus a yearly bonus, and are willing to pay more based on your experience and background.
