We are currently looking for a Planning & Business Optimization Expert Circular Economy Solutions (CES) (m/f/d) to join the team, reporting to Head of Product Asset Management & Supply Chain CES. In this role, you will lead the short-medium term planning process aligning demand and supply to ensure financial optimization of the mechanical recycling assets. You will maximize the business potential from feedstock to recyclates and compounds, managing the complexities across material flows such as side streams, wastes with a holistic business optimization view. Working closely with Supply Chain Manager CES, you will prioritize and steer sales and production volumes for maximum profitability.
Your main responsibilities:
- Lead the monthly S&OP cycle, ensuring business alignment, preparing short to mid-term plans for approval, and addressing deviations for continuous improvement
- Optimize production cycles and sourcing decisions through scenario analysis to maximize profitability
- Identify and drive profit improvement initiatives
- Support Head of Product Asset Management & Supply Chain CES with commercial guidelines and pricing approvals
- First contact point for tactical decisions on planning and business execution
About you
- Master’s degree in Business Management, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Fluency in English and German at business level
- 8+ years of experience in commercial, business, operations or supply chain
- Excellent analytical and conceptual skills to enable fact-based decision-making and robust business case development
- Strong attention on number accuracy and good understanding of P/L principles
- Proven expertise in S&OP, with experience across different steps of S&OP process, ideally combining business, supply chain and finance know-how
- Master on usage of data analytical tools such as Excel, Power BI, SAP (afo)
- Resilient to stress, fast paced, adaptable to uncertainties
- Good influencing skills, being able to simplify complex situations for clear communication and decision-making
