Does scheduling & executing material flow activities ring a bell? Do you want to be responsible for developing a cost minimized schedule for packaging and storage facilities? Do you like to cooperate with several colleagues of production scheduling and order fulfilment?

There is more to it, as a Material Flow Scheduler (MFS), you will:
• translate the production schedule into a detailed packaging, silo and storage schedule, defining the amount of material to be transferred to overflow minimizing the total cost
• participate in alignment meetings with the material handling organisation and outside storage locations in order to drive & continuously improve the material flow schedule quality to ensure proper risk management and asset effectiveness
• manage local inventory of packaging materials, schedule orders and reduce slow moving stock and ensure accuracy of stock level
• create the budget for our overflow activities, take care of the invoicing process and follow up on the cost versus budget
• be involved in local and/or cross location projects to improve our processes and systems
About you
You hold a professional bachelor’s degree in logistics or have built up equivalent experience.
You speak Dutch fluently and can communicate confidently in English. You feel comfortable working with Excel, and if you already know SAP, that’s definitely a plus.
You enjoy analysing situations and making well-considered decisions, even when things move fast.
You can work independently, but also enjoy being part of a team. You see troubleshooting as an opportunity to learn and use your logical thinking to find solutions.
Finally, you communicate clearly and in a structured way, and you’re motivated to go the extra mile while growing further in the world of S&OP.
