Are you ready to take on a temporary challenge within our Supply Chain Management (SCM) team in Beringen?

Do you have experience in scheduling and raw material planning? In this role, you’ll take ownership of ordering and following up on the delivery of raw and packaging materials for our production and material handling teams. You’ll work closely with colleagues in SCM and procurement to ensure smooth operations.

As a Raw Material Scheduler (RMS), you will:

• Optimize raw material order quantities, reduce slow-moving stock, and ensure accurate inventory by monitoring timely and correct goods receipt.
• Translate production and packaging schedules into a detailed raw material plan, defining quantities for delivery to our site or external storage locations.
• Monitor tank levels and adjust deliveries to ensure stock remains within defined safety limits at all times.
• Coordinate repackaging of raw materials with our logistics partner to meet plant handling requirements.
• Participate in our European raw material network, working with colleagues to continuously improve procurement processes and customer satisfaction at optimized cost.
• Maintain raw material planning parameters in SAP to enable system-driven scheduling.

About you

You hold a bachelor’s degree in logistics and have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role. Experience in a (petro)chemical, pharmaceutical or automotive environment, or within an international supply chain context, is a plus. You are fluent in Dutch and can communicate professionally in English. You have a solid working knowledge of Excel, and experience with SAP (S4H) is an asset.

Beyond your technical skills, you are eager to take on a professional challenge and remain clear-headed in different situations, focusing on practical solutions. You have strong analytical and planning skills and work accurately. You are able to make well-founded decisions, sometimes under time pressure, and confidently stand by them. You can work independently while also contributing to a team environment. You enjoy troubleshooting and approach challenges with a logical and solution-oriented mindset, acting quickly when needed.
