We are currently looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our Customer Service team in our Istanbul office. They are around 10 colleagues who collaborate to make customer satisfaction and excellent service levels real.
Alongside our Sales Managers, you will be the primary link to our customers, forming strong relationships with them. You will also be in close contact with logistics service providers, various Borealis business units and supply chain functions. In this interface function, you ensure sales fulfilment and the coordination of various processes between all stakeholders and customers.
In more detail, you will:
- Act as the day-to-day interface for customers to address their supply and service needs
- Manage order and delivery creation, transport booking with our forwarders, invoicing, and export and import activities.
- Follow up on payments to ensure timely completion
- Provide timely and accurate response to customer requests
- Serve as the first point of contact for issues, defects and complaints
- Capture customer insights and stay closely aligned with Sales and other internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to continuous improvements to our systems, processes and to specific customer-related supply chain issues
About you
- Business / commercial degree
- Ideally experience in Customer Service roles or similar roles with a customer focus
- Fluent written and verbal command of English and Turkish language
- Maritime logistics experience, finance, order management, Excel and SAP knowledge will be a bonus
- Good communication and collaboration skills with customers, internal stakeholders and within your own team
