Are you passionate about turning financial data into meaningful insights that drive business decisions? As a Business Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting our production sites in Kallo and Antwerp, ensuring accurate cost calculations and delivering high-quality financial information. You will work closely with colleagues from production, supply chain, and finance to make sure product costs reflect operational reality. Whether you are at the start of your career or already have some experience, this role offers you the opportunity to grow in a dynamic, international, and collaborative environment.

 

In this position, you will combine accounting expertise with strong business understanding:

  • You calculate and analyze product costs, ensuring correct allocation of costs to products and invoices
  • You assess whether standard prices remain accurate and align with actual production, in close collaboration with operations and supply chain
  • You perform month-end closing activities within controlling, including reconciliations, accruals, and cost allocations
  • You analyze variances between standard and actual costs and initiate corrective actions
  • You ensure accurate cost re-allocation and data quality, maintaining reliable financial reporting
  • You contribute to process improvements and standardization across the organization and share best practices

About you

We are looking for a motivated professional with a solid accounting foundation and a strong willingness to learn.

 

Your background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Controlling with 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting
  • Experience in a manufacturing/production environment is a strong asset
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP is a plus)
  • Advanced Excel skills, ERP/system knowledge (e.g. SAPor S4H) is a plus, not a must
