Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for guiding organizations and their people to success? At Borealis, we're looking for a People & Culture (HR) Manager who can set the right track and lead with his/her heart. 

 

The role will include a mix of working on operational tasks in combination with more strategic activities. You will be part of the Location Leadership Team in the organization and together with the other LLT members to drive proactively all people management matters – including engaging in union dialogues - and steering change initiatives.

 

As a key member of the Location Leadership Team, you will:

 

  • Drive People & Culture processes and steer strategic initiatives to enhance employee engagement, organizational development, wellbeing, leadership, and succession planning in the location.
  • Collaborate closely with managers to meet people-related KPIs, providing coaching and support on all organizational matters.
  • Uphold Borealis Values and People Principles in all decision-making processes.
  • Challenge business decisions with potential high-risk implications, offering strategic alternatives.
  • Ensure that People & Culture projects reflect the operational realities of the business.

 

As the most senior People & Culture representative in the location you will have one Business Partner as a direct report and act as an informal leader to the local People & Culture team members and ensure smooth and effective teamwork delivering a great employee and line manager experience.

About you

You are an ideal candidate if you hold a relevant master's degree (e.g., Social Science, Economics, Law) and have extensive experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar role. Knowledge of Swedish Labour Law and managing union relations is a key requirement that will help you to succeed in this role. Earlier experience from an industrial and international work environment is considered a strong advantage. As we are working in multicultural environment, you should be a fluent communicator in Swedish and in English at business level.
