We’re currently looking for a driven and curious Electrical Engineer to join our Electrical Testing Group within the Innovation & Technology community in Sweden. In this growing team, you’ll play a key role in the development of new products and testing methods that support Borealis’ long-term energy strategy.
What you’ll do in this role:
- Design, develop and verify methods for measuring electrical properties of polymer materials for energy applications
- Contribute to the design of future lab investments and method development
- Collaborate in cross-functional teams to define experimental approaches and build technical knowledge
- Combine practical testing with scientific thinking to deliver robust and meaningful results
- Ensure high technical and safety standards in all electrical testing activities
About you
Your motivation, problem-solving ability and willingness to learn are just as important as your formal background.
To succeed in this role, you likely have:
- A few years of experience working with electrical testing, high-voltage equipment or advanced measurement techniques
- A background in engineering, electronics or physics, acquired through work experience and/or education
- Familiarity with LCR meters, oscilloscopes or simulation tools like Matlab or LabView
- Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations
- A hands-on, structured approach with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility
Additionally, you:
- Enjoy developing your skills and learning new tools or methods
- Think logically and analytically, but remain open and adaptive when working in teams
- Are a proactive team player who values safety, collaboration and continuous improvement
- Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
