Advisor (m/f/d) Internal Control System

We are currently looking for an Advisor (m/f/d) for Internal Control System located in our HO in Vienna. In this role, you will ensure compliance of Minimum Control Requirements (MCR), Risk and Control Matrix (RACM) & risk and control assignment of End-to-End processes with the Law, Company’s Directives, Regulations, Procedures. Moreover, you will lead to establish an effective and efficient control environment for Borealis Group and ensure to perform risk assessment for main Borealis processes.
 

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Thorough understanding of risk areas (technical, economical, commercial, organizational and political) of the organization and capable of independently analyzing risks and checking controls performed in those areas.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve the group-wide Internal Control System (ICS) requirements to assure that risk and controls in the related End-to-End processes are properly identified, managed and monitored 
• Establish, Lead  and maintain an efficient and effective ICS framework in the Borealis Group 
• Conduct and instruct ICS checks with all fully consolidated entities
• Maintain and enhance SAP Access Rights solutions according to the ICS principles and reduce Segregation of Duty risks 
• Raise awareness to ICS quality assurance activities and regularly assess (spot checks) the ICS operational effectiveness 
• Provide training, mentoring, communication and best practice sharing for ICS Community (approx. 20+ ICS coordinators)

About you

• University degree Master / Diploma in Business Administration, Economics, Law, Industrial Engineering, or another related field
• Austrian or international professional qualification such as  ACCA, CPA, DIR, CIA, CISA, CRMA, SRM, SPcM are an advantage
• relevant working experience min. 10 years 
• Fluency in English 
• Chemical industrial experience is an advantage
• Profound know-how and proven experience in Finance, Controlling and/or financial & business End-to-End processes
• Audit, Risk or Compliance background and knowledge 
• Excellent communication, presentation, writing and analytical skills
