As part of our Digital Solutions organization, the Expert – Enterprise Architecture supports the Sr. Group Expert – Enterprise Architect in defining and implementing enterprise architecture across the organization. The role ensures alignment between business strategy and technology by applying architectural standards and best practices to deliver secure, scalable, and future-ready solutions.

You will act as a trusted architecture expert, guiding domains and projects, contributing to strategic roadmaps, and enabling a coherent and innovative digital landscape.

Responsibilities

• Assess emerging technologies and provide insights to support innovation and transformation initiatives.
• Apply and maintain enterprise architecture standards, principles, and governance frameworks.
• Review solution designs to ensure compliance with target architecture, security, and scalability requirements.
• Optimize cost, performance, sustainability, and technical quality through sound architectural decisions.
• Act as a subject matter expert and mentor for architects and digital teams.
• Promote architectural best practices and foster collaboration across the organization.

About you

The Expert – Enterprise Architecture operates in a highly strategic role with broad visibility across the organization, influencing enterprise-wide architecture decisions and contributing directly to the long-term digital direction. Next to that, the role holder works in a collaborative, international environment where architectural excellence is a key enabler of business success. To thrive in this role, you bring: 

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a comparable field.
• 12 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture and IT Architecture from different domain
• Comprehensive Domain Expertise: Application Development, Infrastructure, Data Analytics, Security adept at designing holistic architectural strategies that enable scalability, resilience, and business growth.
• Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills.

We offer competitive compensation based on the collective labor agreement, starting at EUR 82.400 annual gross salary (based on 38 hrs/week) and a yearly bonus. Your salary package will reflect your profile and experience.
