Make Global Product Management Real! 

 

We are currently looking for a Manager (m/f/d) for Global Product Management directly reporting to the Head of Global Product Asset Management, Low Pressure Polyethylene. In this role, you will own and develop the PO product strategy for the asset platform. You will lead a global team of 10 colleagues, located in Austria, Belgium, Sweden, Finland and the Netherlands. 
 
You will succeed through:

  • leading a high performing team and developing team members along their individual needs and potential
  • contributing to the development of the relevant asset platform strategy and its implementation in line with Borealis PO vision and the intent to maximize long term financial performance and customer satisfaction.
  • defining and managing the product-property matrix based on in-depth market, customer and competitor intelligence.
  • optimizing the product portfolio through managing product introductions, modifications, cost optimization and deletions.
  • harmonizing global product portfolio with our Joint Ventures companies to deliver optimized global sourcing strategy
  • handling together with the team product related complaints/claims, initiating investigation and concluding on justification.
  • optimizing total cost to serve for products and assets (cost of complexity vs value, raw material cost, product related variable and fixed costs)
  • ensuring compliance against internal and external standards and optimizing CO2 footprint.
  • acting as the business owner for POPortal (IT tool for Borealis product portfolio library)

About you

You are the right candidate for this role, if you have University Degree and at least 8 years of work experience in the relevant field (Product Management, Innovation & Technology, Sales & Marketing or Manufacturing). You are a proven leader with the skill to develop and lead a high performing team. You can create and articulate your vision and drive the implementation in collaboration with your stakeholders. You are having strong commercial acumen and customer focus whilst you have good technical understanding of polymer products and manufacturing process.

Your salary package will reflect your profile, experience and the specifics of the country/location you apply for.

 

Should you join us in one of our Austrian locations and according to Austrian law , we offer compensation based on the collective labor agreement starting at EUR 127.200 annual gross salary (based on 38 hrs/week) plus a yearly bonus, and are willing to pay more based on your experience and background.
